When asked by our client, Sodexo, to participate in their Sodexo Servathon Food Drive, we at Think Creative immediately agreed. Inspired by the plight of Central Florida’s homeless and hungry children showcased on a recent airing of 60 Minutes, we wanted to participate in a big way; a bigger way than we could as individuals. So, as a classic example of paying it forward, we forwarded the request on to other clients and friends who were likewise moved by the need right here in our own community.
Through this group effort we were able to deliver an SUV full of food items to Sodexo to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Sodexo’s Altamonte Springs office alone collected 54,637 non-perishable food items, well over their initial goal of 1,835, showing that what we can do together is far greater than what we can do alone.
