Picture yourself in nature’s paradise with access to a championship golf course, a beautiful spa and pure serenity. Imagine yourself walking out on your patio to a sunrise and birds chirping with a cup of coffee and an agenda free of everything but pampering. Now open your eyes and imagine what their website and brand might look like. That was our task as we dove into the rebranding of Cypress Bend Golf and Conference Resort.
When our team visited this off-the-beaten-path resort in the heart of Texas-Louisiana hill country, they came back feeling relaxed by the seclusion, beautiful wildlife and open landscape….but the marketing materials and website just were not telling that story. We knew if we could just bring that experience to life, we could convince prospective customers to come see it for themselves.
Working with Web Solutions of America (search engine optimization and web development) and Net Conversion (online marketing and web analytics), we developed a new website and implemented rigorous direct mail, e-mail and online marketing campaigns. The design used earthier, warmer colors to play up the resort’s natural beauty. We used photos that captured the wildlife in action and the golf course in peak season….pictures that paint a much better picture of a serene getaway. Dreamier, more evocative language describes the experience in a more personal way, helping you picture yourself right there on the back patio, drinking an ice-cold beer after a great day on the golf course).
Besides looking and sounding awesome, some early results showing that these efforts are paying off.

- Online ads are driving 75 new phone calls a month
- Improved search engine rankings for top keywords, and gotten resort ranked for new keywords
- Bookings are on the rise for groups and leisure…and we plan on that continuing!
